Consistency is key to forming and maintaining habits. It’s all about doing something regularly until it becomes a natural part of your routine, almost like brushing your teeth every morning and night. When you’re consistent with a behavior, your brain starts to expect and even look forward to it, making it easier to keep up the habit over time.

To make consistency work for you, choose activities or behaviors you want to turn into habits and commit to doing them regularly. For example, if you want to start exercising, decide on a time and type of exercise you can realistically fit into your daily schedule. It could be a brisk walk after breakfast or a yoga session before bed. The important thing is to do it at the same time and place every day, so it becomes a part of your daily flow.
