Taíno is on a mission to promote wellbeing and human connection. He has a master’s degree in industrial engineering and combines 10+ years experience from roles such as management consultant and engineering director with insights as public speaker and yoga teacher.
He has helped thousands of people create a more balanced use of digital technology. Or in simpler terms – make us put our phone down every now and then and focus on what´s in front of us! He is the founder of Phone Free Day, a non-profit initiative and challenge, author of the book Tech-Life Balance, published researcher and public speaker. He has worked with a broad range of organizations from large corporates, Universities, hospitality businesses, IT-businesses, to small pre-schools.
In our complex and quickly changing world, his aim is to be a counterforce to the stress and pressure many people are experiencing, and support people towards improved mental and physical health, relationships, focus at work, family life, and resilience.
Taíno has lived around the world in e.g. the US, Bolivia, Zimbawe, New Zealand and now lives in the South of Sweden with his wife and two sons.
